History

Inland
began as the result of an innovative idea: ventilated cardboard
boxes to ship live chicks, developed by Herman Krannert in the
basement of his Anderson, Indiana, home. |
| In
1925, this idea gave rise to the creation of Inland Container
Corporation. Since its beginnings, Inland has been a leading
company in the paper and containerboard Industry. Presently,
Inland Paperboard and Packaging, Inc., has over 50 conversion
plants and paper mills located throughout the world, and is
among the Fortune 400 companies. |
